Bestival Radio gets M-Powered

Pro Tools M-Powered, the version of Pro Tools that works only with certified M-Audio hardware, was the key component in the editing rig chosen by the folks at Bestival FM, the official radio station at this year's huge music festival on the Isle Of Wight.

Used with M-Audio's Pro Tools compatible Fast Track USB audio interfaces, two Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3 systems were used to edit content, including a number of interviews, live sets and other recorded material, throughout the show which took place on the Isle of Wight from September 6-9 2007.

Bestival FM broadcasting 24 hours a day, bubbling out good vibes for the whole weekend. The schedule includes shows produced and presented by Radio 1, C4 Radio, XFM, GCap employees, volunteers, journalists including guest DJ’s.

Bestival FM is a Restricted Service Licence (RSL) radio station which broadcasts from 6-9 September, transmitting across the Isle Of Wight, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and surrounding area - and over the internet via the Bestival.net website.
